Dry Strawberry Mead (melomel)

A Homebrew Beer Recipe

Style (BJCP): 
25E. Mead - Other Fruit Melomel
Extract Ingredients: 

10 lb Fresh Honey
4 gal water, about
2 tsp yeast nutrient
2 tsp yeast energizer
4 lb frozen strawberries
1/2 Campden Tablet

Yeast: D-47 (or your favorite)

Extract Instructions: 

Soak honey containers in hot water 30 minutes head of time to liquefy.

<em>No Heat Method (sanitization very important)</em>: In sanitized fermenter, combine honey, yeast nutrient & energizer. With sanitized rod or spoon handle, stir vigorously for 2 minutes to aerate the must. Pitch yeast and ferment until final gravity reached.
